MATCHING COTTON THREAD Use a 50-weight 2-ply thread like Aurifil
BUTTONS Two 1” buttons (or more for a layered look) One sew on magnetic button from Bohin Four small buttons for inside pockets
HANDLES Plastic Tubing (.170 ¼” Polyethylene) 5 feet Stiff Interfacing (Craf-tex, Peltex) 2 strips 1¾” x 20½” (or you can purchase Aunties Two Happy Handles Kit #AT238 which contains both the tubing and strips of stiff interfacing pre-cut to 1¾” wide)
Other Tools: Sewing Machine with a free arm, sewing machine needles - Microtex 90/14 . Scissors (both large and small), pins, mat, rotary cutter, acrylic rulers, chalk or other removable marking pen, seam ripper, hand sewing needles, measuring tape, parchment paper or Teflon ironing sheet.
