The key for visual success is the low volume flower petals.
With a slight contrast between the 2 fabrics, the petals blend but one can still see a modest difference.
Too much contrast and the petals start to pinwheel.
Time saving techniques to create 8 half square triangles using only 2 fabric squares and corner triangles make this quilt come together quickly.
And what a great opportunity to play around with machine quilting within the open spaces!
Cotton Daisies comes in 2 sizes, 45” x 45” and 45” x 63”. All piecing uses traditional rotary cutting method.
